Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Meerkat Media Ltd (“we”, “us”, “Noma Intel”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information through the Noma Intel platform at nomaintel.com and the reporting dashboard at app.nomaintel.com (together, the “Service”). We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. Information we collect
Account information
When an agency or client user is invited to the Service, we collect the user’s name, email address, and the credentials needed to sign in. This is used to authenticate users and control which client data each user can see.
Website analytics data
For websites that install our measurement tag, we collect information about visits — such as page URLs, referring source, approximate location derived from network information, device and browser type, and on-site events. We apply privacy protections by design:
- IP addresses are truncated and are not stored in full.
- We do not attempt to identify individual visitors by name.
- Analytics event data is retained for a limited period (see section 6).
AI-visitor and discovery data
We record when automated AI agents and crawlers access a client’s site or the platform’s AI-discovery endpoints, together with the technical request context (such as the requesting agent, host, and path). This is used to show clients how AI systems are reading their content.
Advertising platform data (Google Ads and Meta)
When a client or agency connects a Google Ads or Meta advertising account, we access that account’s advertising performance data through the relevant platform’s API — for example campaign, ad, spend, impression, click, and conversion metrics. We access this data only at the direction of the account owner and only to display reporting back to that account owner and their agency. See our API data-use disclosure for the specific commitments that apply to Google and Meta API data.
3. How we use information
- To provide the reporting dashboard and show analytics and advertising performance to the agency and client who own the data.
- To authenticate users and enforce which client data each user may see.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.
We do not sell personal information or advertising data, and we do not use advertising data obtained through platform APIs to serve or target advertising.
4. Google user data
Noma Intel’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the access needed to read advertising performance for accounts the user connects, and we use that data solely to provide the reporting features the user has asked for.
5. How we share information
We share information only as follows:
- Within the account’s own agency/client relationship — data is visible to the agency that manages the client and to that client’s authorised users.
- Service providers — infrastructure and hosting providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations (for example our cloud hosting and database providers).
- Legal requirements — where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell data or share it with data brokers.
6. Data retention
Website analytics event data is retained for a limited period (currently 24 months) and then deleted or aggregated. Account information is kept for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and operational obligations. Advertising data pulled from platform APIs is retained only as long as needed to provide reporting and is removed when an account is disconnected on request.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls that limit each user to the client data they are authorised to see, encrypted transport, and secret management for API credentials.
8. Your rights and choices
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Account owners can disconnect a linked Google Ads or Meta account at any time, which stops further data access. To make a request, contact technology@nomaintel.com.
9. International processing
Our infrastructure providers may process data in data centres located outside Australia. Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is handled consistently with this policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notifying account holders.
